Man Dies Following a Workplace Accident on the Western Downs

Emergency Services were called out to a workplace incident at Drillham South around 1:30pm yesterday afternoon, it was reported a man had fallen from a significant height.

QAS assessed the 36-year-old man at the scene who has sustained critical injuries from the fall.

Queensland Police Services have confirmed that sadly the man has died as a result of the accident.

Workplace and Health and Safety inspectors are investigating the incident.
