Man Has Lucky Escape after Car Plunges Into Creek

It was a lucky escape for a man whose car ended up submerged in the Glengallan Creek yesterday morning. 

The man was lucky to escape with his life after the car plunged into the water around 4:30AM.

The driver, the sole occupant of the vehicle, managed to escape through a car window and made his way to the top of the bridge where he hailed a ride to the nearest service station and called 000.

Four QFES crews attended the scene.

Police say there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the accident.
