Man Injured at Abbatoir Overnight

An Oakey abbatoir worker is in a Brisbane Hospital after being injured at work last night.
The 50-year-old man was flown to Brisbane in the early hours of this morning after emergency services received a call just after midnight telling them that a worker had sustained a serious injury to his lower leg from a piece of machinery.
The call coming through just after midnight that the worker had suffered a serious injury to his lower leg from a bit of machinery
He was airlifted by RACQ LifeFlight to the Brisbane Royal and Women’s Hospital in a stable condition.
