Man Who Left Trail of Destruction on the Range Fronts Court
Blames “fit” for his actions
On May 13th, a man left a trail of destruction on the Toowoomba Range that saw five people hospitalised as a result of the multi-vehicle crash.
The man faced court yesterday on a number of charges relating to the incident.
As a result, three people were treated for serious while one person had to be cut free from his wrecked ute.
The 28-year-old Woodridge man was apologetic, saying his actions were ‘out of character’.
He has been charged with driving with a relevant drug in his system, driving without a licence as a repeat offender and dangerous operation of a vehicle but has yet to enter a plea.
Magistrate Kay Ryan adjourned the matter to be heard back in the same court on July 24.
