Mayoral Prayer Breakfast Proceeds Help Toowoomba Community Care Transport

Volunteer drivers from Toowoomba Community Care Transport Inc are used to going the extra mile transporting eligible clients to medical appointments across Toowoomba city.

The community organisation that was started by the Rotary Club of Toowoomba in 1995 last night received a boost of its own in the form of proceeds from this year’s Mayoral Prayer Breakfast that was held at Rumours in May.

Toowoomba Region Mayor Paul Antonio presented a cheque for $8,978.05 to Toowoomba Community Care Transport (TCCT) president Tony Mullen and thanked all attendees, business supporters and sponsors for their contributions.

“Judging by the adage, one good turn deserves another, Toowoomba Community Care Transport Inc is a worthy recipient of the funds raised at this year’s function,” Mayor Antonio said.
