More than 550 of Queensland’s leading business identities are expected to help the It’s A Bloke Thing Foundation (IABT) fill the prostate cancer charity coffer with more than one million dollars next Tuesday.

Now in its seventh year, the luncheon is recognised as one of the most successful day-time charity fundraising events in Australia and has so far raised $4.3million for research and education programs.

Wellcamp Airport’s terminal will transform into a glamorous-style ballroom, where celebrity chef Alastair McLeod and his team will serve more than 1500 plates of delicious local and state-wide produce.

(Queensland has the highest incidence of prostate cancer in Australia and the second highest in the world. The majority of sufferers come from rural communities).
