More Details Emerge Surrounding Attack of Goomburra Woman
Remains in critical condition
Detectives investigating the serious assault of a woman at Goomburra early yesterday morning believe the incident may be linked to the non-suspicious death of a man at Glenore Grove.
Shortly before 1am, police were called to an Inverramasy Road address after the 47-year-old woman was found with a serious head injury. It is believed her injuries were inflicted using a baseball bat.
The woman was taken to Warwick Hospital before being airlifted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital where she remains in a critical condition.
At 2:36am, police attended an address on Fernvale Road, Glenore Grove where a man was located deceased.
A crime scene was established and police are treating the man’s death as non-suspicious.
It is believed the man and woman were known to each other.
