The Downs Motorcycle Sporting Club are gearing up for their 41st Motorcycle Toy Run to bring cheer to children and families in need this Christmas

Hundreds of motorcyclists from across the Darling Downs and as far as Northern New South Wales will be riding through Toowoomba on Sunday 16 December for the 41st Annual Motorcycle Toy Run collecting toys for kids doing it tough this Christmas.

The Downs Motorcycle Sporting Club is preparing for its annual Toy Run by calling on motorcyclists to join the ride and for the local community to come out in support by waving the riders on or donating toys and gifts.

All gifts donated from riders and the community will go to the Toowoomba Hospital Foundation and St Vincent de Paul Society to be given to kids who may go without a gift this Christmas.

Riders will meet at Picnic Point from 10.30am before leaving for the Toowoomba Showgrounds at 12noon. Other riders will also leave from Oakey, Goombungee, Gatton and Nobby at 10.30am, bound for Picnic Point.

Anyone can donate toys and gifts on the day, either at Picnic Point before the riders set off or at the Toowoomba Showgrounds at 1pm.

Please help charities to determine the gender and age appropriateness of your gift by leaving them unwrapped.
