Western Downs Regional Council are helping to give unwanted and unclaimed pound pets their best chance at adoption and finding their new forever home, anyone who adopts a pet from Council’s pounds will have their new fur-baby de-sexed free of charge.

Council Spokesperson for Planning and Environment Councillor Andrew Smith said “Many of the cats and dogs brought into pounds are loving, friendly and well-tempered animals who deserve nothing more than a second chance at finding their new forever home.”

For a limited time anyone who adopts a pet from pounds in Chinchilla and Dalby will have their new four-legged friend de-sexed for free.
