Oscar Oscar Salons and METRO Care to Host Seasonal Styling Workshop

Oscar Oscar Salons and METRO Care Toowoomba are joining forces to host a Seasonal Styling Workshop at Oscar Oscar, Grand Central on Tuesday, May 29th from 6.30pm.  Now is your last chance to get tickets – with ticket sales closing on Monday at 5pm. 

Salon Partner Hollie-Jay Taylor and METRO Care’s Matt Gregg said they are excited to present the Toowoomba community with a unique evening of food, drinks, entertainment, gifts and styling tips, all in the name of charity.

Entertainment for the evening will include live music by Toowoomba’s own Beamish Boys as well as prizes donated by many local businesses including Oscar Oscar, The Spotted Cow, The Empire Theatre, The Enchanted Florist, Fitzy’s, Local Artists and more.

The Styling Workshop will include lucky door prizes and a silent auction, with all proceeds being donated directly to METRO Care’s Assistance Service, which is a program that helps local community services and not-for-profits support their clients. 

The Assistance Service focuses on delivering short-term relief and developing long-term support strategies with clients whilst maintaining a holistic approach in assisting those clients who engage with the service. The Assistance Service is accessible by referral from community services and contacting METRO Care directly.

“This is a look and learn style workshop, teaching guests all our favourite styling tips and tricks. Teaming up with METRO Care is a collaboration I am super excited about,” Hollie said. 

Matt said he is excited to be able to create such an exciting community event – “We’re thrilled to be working with Oscar Oscar and look forward to being able to support our local community in style,” he said.
