Oversized Deliveries on the Toowoomba Range

Super T girder deliveries will continue next week with intermittent closures on the Warrego Highway, Toowoomba Range between midnight and 4am.

Weather permitting, deliveries will occur from Sunday 26 March to Friday 31 March 2017. During this week, intermittent closures of the westbound up lanes of the Warrego Highway, Toowoomba Range may be required. Closures will occur between midnight and 4am and last for approximately an hour at a time.

Motorists and heavy vehicle operators are advised to seek alternative routes to Toowoomba. These routes include Murphys Creek Road and the Cunningham Highway. Closures on the Toowoomba Range for deliveries will be periodically required until late 2018.

Traffic management will be in place for traffic detours. For the safety of all road users, Nexus has been, and will continue to, work with Queensland Police Service to enforce the changed traffic conditions required for these deliveries.
