Toowoomba Police are appealing for any witnesses to a traffic crash hit and run on Tuesday, May 23 between 8:45am and 9am.

The incident took place on the corner of Anzac and James Streets, Toowoomba.

One vehicle involved is a white 2003 Volvo sedan and the other unidentified vehicle is a yellow road train with two carriages and possible partial registration of 535.

The truck has failed to brake in time and collided with the rear end of the Volvo. The Volvo has turned left onto James Street heading west and pulled into McDonalds assuming that the truck would stop and exchange details. The truck has continued on west along James Street and then onto Tor Street before turning left onto Taylor Street.

Police request any information from anyone who may have witnessed this incident.
