Police Search for Owner of Stolen Truck

Toowoomba Police are hunting for an offender who took a trick for a joyride in the early hours of this morning.

It is alleged that at around 1:30 AM the stolen flat tray truck didn’t stop for police when they put on their sirens.

As the driver was endeavouring to evade the police steel slipped from the rear of the vehicle falling onto the road.

The truck was later dumped.

The offender is still at large with police trying to track down the owner of the truck.
