Police Taser Man after Reports of Disturbance
Allegedly resisting arrest
Dalby police responded to a disturbance on Saturday that resulted in a man being tasered.
The incident happened around 3:45PM when police were called out to a property on the Western Downs after reports of a disturbance.
When police attempted to take the offender into custody, police will allege the man resisted arrest and confronted officers – police then deployed a taser.
The 32-year-old man was taken in custody and placed in the watch house. He was not injured.
The man was charged with obstruct police and a variety of other offences, and is due to appear in court at a later date.
