A pilot shortage is being blamed for a reduction in QANTAS flights from Toowoomba to Sydney.
The airline has revealed that flights have been cut by 14 percent, which came into effect this past fortnight.
The new timetable came into effect on May 22, with the airport's general manager Sara Hales confirming Toowoomba would lose some of its early weekday morning services to Sydney but she also says that there's a silver lining because there is a mid-morning flight coming from Sydney and returning.
The Toowoomba schedule was revised as a result of the flying kangaroo attempting to navigate turbulent times in the industry.
