Premier Annastacia Palaszscuk says boosting Toowoomba's tourism is a priority for the Queensland Government

Ms Palaszscuk and her cabinet were in the Garden City yesterday for a meeting with Council and to tour the region.

She says she will be working with Mayor Paul Antonio on possible attractions for Toowoomba including the Quarry Gardens project giving serious consideration to the funding of the Quarry.

Labor Toowoomba North Candidate Kerry Shine says the $120 million project will provide year round tourism to the Garden City.
