Two RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopters from Toowoomba and Brisbane were used to airlift three young men who were badly injured in a single vehicle accident near Chinchilla on Saturday night.

The men were injured when their car collided with a tree around 8pm.

The Brisbane-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter airlifted a 19-year-old male with suspected head injuries from Chinchilla Hospital to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane in a stable condition early on Sunday morning.

While two males, aged 20, were airlifted on the same chopper by the Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter with several broken bones and were taken to the Toowoomba Base Hospital in a stable condition.
