Residents Shut Out over Planned Housing Estate

Meringandan residents say they have been shut out from having a say over a planned housing estate.

Toowoomba Regional Council voted yesterday in favour of approving land for development along Bradley Street despite 200 residents lodging their concerns against the development.

Developer Kassaki want to build an 80 lot housing estate at the site.

 Resident’s concerns included:

• Traffic
• Flooding
• Block sizes
• Zoning
