The Southern Downs Regional Council is looking to help local businesses secure government contracts.

This Wednesday (May 17th) SDRC will be holding a FREE forum showing ways in how to apply and be successful when submitting a tender.

SDRC Economic Development Manager Scott Templeman says the forum is to help local businesses become more competitive as they are the backbone to every small town.

The two hour intensive workshop will be led by representatives from Southern Downs Regional Council and the Queensland Department of State Development.

The forum will be held Wednesday 17 May from 5.00pm – 7.00pm at the Warwick Library.
