Sunrise Way CEO Wendy Agar said around 120 people attended the breakfast to hear the incredible stories of courage and resilience of guest speaker Pip Courtney and former Sunrise Way resident Lyle McLean.

“I’m so thankful to everyone who came along to the breakfast and supported Sunrise Way.  Not only did they help us raise much needed funds, but I hope this event helped them understand the important work we’re doing here,” she said.

“Sunrise Way is committed to helping people living with addiction develop skills and strategies to maintain sobriety.

“We provide an essential service to the community and are not fully funded, so fundraising activities like this breakfast are an important part of our activities.  It’s these initiatives that enable us to help people from our region who have been living with addiction to rebuild their lives.”
