Police have charged a girl and a woman following investigations into the alleged assault of a 15-year-old girl in Warwick.
The teenage girl was beaten by a group of people, leaving her with serious injuries in hospital.
Police were called to Percy Street about 2AM yesterday morning in response to reports that a young girl was being assaulted by a group of people.
The young girl was taken to the Warwick Base Hospital where she received treatment before being airlifted to a hospital in Brisbane.
She is being treated for life-threatening injuries and remains in a serious condition.
A 16-year-old Warwick girl has been charged with assault occasioning bodily harm and grievous bodily harm.
An 18-year-old Wilsonton woman has been charged with grievous bodily harm.
She is due to appear in Warwick Magistrates Court on October 11.
