The Salvation Army Gift-wrapping Booth Needs Your Help

Volunteers needed to wrap up Christmas

Every year Grand Central has a gift wrapping booth in-centre in the lead up to Christmas, which is run by The Salvation Army.  This year they will have two booths raising much needed funds for the Salvos.

How it works:

Grand Central supply the booth, all wrapping paper, ribbons, and pretty stuff and The Salvation Army supply the volunteers.  People pay a donation to get their gifts wrapped, and ALL proceeds go to the Salvos.

They will be operating from December 4-24 from 10am-4pm daily on Level 1 outside Myer, and on the Ground Floor outside Best&Less.

Samantha Creamer from The Salvation Army: “We have so many volunteers who help run the booths each year – they are the only reason we are able to do it.  We love our volunteers and we’re always in need of more – especially this year, as we’ll be running two booths at Grand Central instead of just the one.”

Anyone who is interested in volunteering can call The Salvation Army team on 4632 7206 during office hours (Tues, Thurs 9am-3pm) or PM them via their Facebook page.
