There is no event quite like Opera at Jimbour.   

Over 7,500 opera lovers made their way to Jimbour to catch the mesmerising performance of the Merry Widow on the weekend.

Queensland Music Festival (QMF) and Opera Queensland (OperaQ) partnered up once again to entertain thousands on Saturday when they presented Opera in Jimbour 2017 which was held in the picturesque grounds of heritage-listed Jimbour House.  

Picnic hampers, blankets and chairs filled the amphitheatre with patrons enjoying the stunning, relaxing atmosphere of this popular outdoor event held every two years at the Western Downs location attracting visitors from right across Southern Queensland and interstate.
