A Toowoomba man has paid the ultimate price for a box of Shapes.
The man, who appeared before the Toowoomba Magistrates Court on Friday on a number of charges, landed himself a three-month jail sentence for the theft of the shapely tasty box of biscuits.
The court heard how the offender landed himself in trouble with the law on numerous occasions last year due to his repeated intoxicated and expletive behaviour.
During the theft of the Shapes he threw a cash register at an employee after he was confronted by the worker for putting the box down his pants.
He was sentenced him to a total of five months jail for all of offences but was ordered that he be released on parole immediately.
The court told the man telling the man that he had spent the past six months in jail for essentially being an alcoholic and that he needed to change.
