A Cotswold Hills man has left court with a $3000 fine after pleading guilty to one charge of ‘securing storage of weapons’ and one charge of “unlawful possession of ten or more weapons.

In February, police attended the Cotswold Hills residence where they found 56 unlicensed or unregistered firearms.

The charges carry a $63,000 or a maximum 10-year prison sentence.

The man was fined $3000 and a conviction was recorded.
