Toowoomba MP Trevor Watts Says He’s Looking Forward to Working for Locals
On track to secure third term

The LNP look likely to secure the seats of Toowoomba North, South, Southern Downs and Lockyer.
One of the most contested was the seat of Toowoomba North which looked as though it could swing either way between the LNP and Labor
However, it looks as though Trevor Watts will sit for a third term after securing 54 percent of the vote so far over Labors Kerry Shine, Watts saying he is looking forward to fixing the big issues.
“I would say on the ground here in Toowoomba we have had strong results at this point. I am very pleased with how things have been received by my community.
They know me well, they know that I have been a strong voice for them, they know I’ve been delivering regionally and that is what I will continue to do.
I have made myself available to them so they can tell me the things that they want me to fight for.”
