Toowoomba police are trying to track down a Chinchilla teenager after a stolen car crashed into the front of Owen Camera House on Saturday.

The incident occurred around 1:15am when the stolen Toyota Kluger mounted the footpath careering into the front of the camera store.

Three young men, all wearing gloves, escaped from the store, running through the hole in the window and then down Neil Street.

Minutes later, a police handler and dog were hot on their trail.

A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said two 13-year-old boys from Chinchilla had been located by the dog squad and were taken into custody.

A third teenage boy is still on the run, she said.

The car was stolen between June 7 and June 10 from an address in Turner Street, Chinchilla.

The spokeswoman said the two 13-year-olds had been charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle and burglary.
