A minor crash on a roundabout has led to a road-rage attack and police charging two men for the outburst of violence.

Police allege that around 9:20AM on Saturday morning two men, aged 21 and 25, got out of their vehicle on a roundabout at Long and Ramsay Streets after a minor crash and proceeded to kick the car in front of them after.

A police spokesperson said the men then stole the vehicle's number plate before being taken into custody by officers.

A number of people witnessed the incident, which involved a Mercedes and a pink Nissan Skyline.

Police are urging anyone with video footage of the incident to come forward.

Both men were taken into custody, and charged with wilful damage, and stealing.
