TRC Implement 'Street & Park' Policy

 A new policy by Toowoomba Regional Council will now see trees as vital component of public infrastructure.

Council has voted to implement their ‘Street & Park’ Policy.

The policy will see developers having to pay to fell trees and to render bonds before undertaking any works.

The ‘Street & Park’ Policy was unanimously endorsed by Council yesterday.

The policy does not cover trees on private land.
