Toowoomba Regional Council next week starts the first of three dedicated rounds of community engagement to seek public input into ideas for the Central Highfields Master Plan.

Toowoomba Region Mayor Paul Antonio said Council was pleased to offer residents and all interested groups the chance to play an active part in the development of the Central Highfields Master Plan.

“Council will consult and work with the community starting from Monday, October 16 to shape the plan which will guide the direction and enhance the liveability of this attractive area well into the future,” Mayor Antonio said.

“To ensure we include as many people who wish to be involved and fully consider all options for this exciting new 45 hectare precinct, Council will hold two more Master Plan community engagement rounds in February-March 2018, followed by a final round in April-May 2018.”

Interested community members are encouraged to go to http://yoursay.tr.qld.gov.au/HTC for further information, or call Council on 131 872.
