A 17-year-old girl is one of three people arrested over an alleged armed robbery in Dalby on Thursday afternoon.

The teenage girl from Toowoomba was  arrested along with two older offenders, after a man entered a Woolworths petrol station on Drayton Street about 4.30pm armed with a knife demanding cash.

The man fled the scene with an amount of cash but didn’t get too far after police stopped the trio at Charlton, where they were taken into custody.

The three face one count each of armed robbery in company and enter premises with intent to commit an indictable offence.

A 35-year-old Dalby woman, along with a 33-year-old male fronted court on Friday morning while the teenage offender will be dealt with under provisions of the Youth Justices Act.
