Two 14-year-old boys have been charged by police after allegedly stealing a car before crashing and rolling the vehicle in Toowoomba around 3:20AM.

Police say that a stolen 2009 Honda Jazz was being driven dangerously throughout West Street, Toowoomba and they were forced to deploy road spikes in an effort to stop the vehicle.  The car swerved to avoid them resulting in the car being rolled.

The two teenage occupants of the car were taken to Toowoomba Hospital.

Both boys have been charged with one count each of burglary and commit indictable offence, however these are not the only the charges they face.

A Harristown boy is facing further charges of burglary, commit indictable offence, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, possession of utensils or pipes, possession of dangerous drugs, receiving tainted property, stealing and unlawful use.

While an Oakey boy is also facing further charges of burglary, commit indictable offence, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, two counts of driving unlicensed, three counts of enter premise and commit indictable offence, enter premise with intent to commit indictable offence, receiving tainted property, stealing, unlawful use and wilful damage.
