U-Turn Outside College at Highfields is a No, No!

On February 6, Toowoomba Regional Council installed ‘No U-turn’ signs outside Toowoomba Christian College on the New England Highway to improve the safety of students and parents moving to and from the college.

Unfortunately it would appear that some people don’t understand what the sign means.

 Police hope motorists aren’t purposely disobeying the sign.

Officers have received a complaint about people not complying with the new rule and wish to warn motorists that there has been sufficient time for people to realise that the sign is in place and will be looking at enforcement in the near future.
