A Warwick man has been fined after a local Scout group found his partially submerged car in the Leslie Dam on Sunday morning.

The find was reported to local police who later charged the 27-year-old owner of the vehicle with driving an unregistered and unlicensed vehicle.

Police allege that man was witnessed doing burn outs in the area on Saturday morning.  Witnesses say that the car hit a tree stump, a man smashed a number of the vehicles windows before it was driven into the waterhole.
