More than 60 locals will carry the Queen’s Baton when it makes its way through the region in March next year.

In total more than 3,500 baton bearers will bring the baton across the country to the opening ceremony on April 4, 2018.

Launched on March 17 by Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace, the relay will take 388 days to reach the Gold Coast for the Games.
