Wilsonton State High School students will have the use of a brand new hall by the start of 2018 school year.

Education Minster Kate Jones has announced the $5 million project to start next year, which has been fast tracked.

Toowoomba North MP Trevor Watts has been lobbying for the hall for years.

Four more projects have also been moved forward including $80,000 to build a covered walkway and covered area at Allora State School.
