Woman Injured in Motorbike Accident

The Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter airlifted a 24-year-old woman after a motorbike accident on the Cunningham Highway on Sunday morning.
The crew was tasked to the scene at 10:50AM after the woman, who was out riding with friends, failed to properly negotiate a corner and crashed.
She suffered suspected pelvic and abdominal injuries.
The woman was treated by Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics who transported her by road to a nearby helipad.
The LifeFlight aeromedical crew then airlifted the woman to the Toowoomba Base Hospital in a stable condition.
