The southern coastline has once again copped a fair drenching, and it's making the roads a little dangerous.

A caution from Main Roads for the Coolgardie-Esperance Highway this afternoon, 16km north of Noreseman with water over the road due to the big falls.

Both directions are affected, and so travellers should try to find an alternative route if possible.

There has also been storm damage to the Brookton Highway.

Speed restrictions are in place on the highway in both directions, 20km south of Lake King.

Meanwhile, Emergency WA are asking residents through the South East Coast to prepare for minor flooding across today and tomorrow, including people around Iseralite Bay and Esperance.

Some roads may be closed due to rising flood waters, while 4WD vehicles and trucks may proceed with caution.

For anyone requiring SES assistance, they should call 132 500. And for those in life threatening situation, only those people should call 000.
