Last Saturday night, I had the pleasure of hosting the Songs from the Southern Edge CD launch down at the Cannery Arts Centre. This has been a 2 year collaboration of talent from across Esperance, working with a producer/song writer based in Perth, to then create a local CD.
The night showcased all the talent that are on this CD and was a an absolute success considering the night sold out very quickly. I have had lots of chats with one of the organisers: Kyza in regards to this project and he has said numerous times that the talent in Esperance is extraordinary and really needed a platform to get it out there. - Draker
