Time to CELEBRATE at the GROWERS MARKET

 

9-12noon, Sat, Nulsen Primary School, CELEBRATE its 1st year of the new location.  COME for a chinwag with the LOCALS, enjoy some tunes of LOCAL talent & nibble on some delicious wood fire pizzas made with LOVE, donated by the growers (made with local produce) in appreciation for the Fabulous COMMUNITY support.

 

Nulsen Primary School will be also be having a SAUSAGE SIZZLE & the famous PAPA WAFFLES will be there with delicious LOCAL made Belgium Waffles.  Hope to see you there!

 

**What’s in the BASKET at the GROWERS MARKET**

 

- Delicious bits n bobs from the kitchen to make your mouth water...Sourdough, Burmese Ngapee Chet, all natural mayonnaise, tartare sauce, lemon butter, passionfruit butter, a large variety of preserves, bread, quiches, biscuits & other baked goods using LOCAL eggs.  Tastings from the famous Yirri Grove cafe

 

-‘HOW To..’ Jenny will be showing how to make natural salves, with herb infused local and lavender olive oil.

 

- This week we have a fabulous spread of fruit and veg...including pears, figs, dried banana, spaghetti squash, eggplant, cherry tomatoes, lemons, fresh beetroot, zucchini  lemon sorrel, glass gem corn cobs, dried calendula flowers and a variety of herbs, LOCAL olives (sample before you buy) & award winning EVOO.

 

Nurture and make your garden come alive with Congo cockatoo, fuschias, garlic, cymbidium orchids, garlic, heirloom seeds, kokedamas, white sweet potato, lemongrass, lettuce, cabbage, marigold, yarrow, Tansy, strawberry, borage, ivy geranium, begonia, peppermint geranium, two toned snake bean, chamomile, mint and cape gooseberry plants.  Seedlings of mangel wurzel, sugar beet, purple cauliflower, romanesco broccoli, giant kale, black cornflower, coriander, echinacea, watercress, lemon balm and chamomile.
