Esperance Local creates a Clean up Esperance Day

Local cares for the future of Esperance

Last week, I had the opportunity to interview a delightful young lady named Lara ahead of the planned "Clean Up Esperance Day". As one of the organisers, she spoke of the importance of keeping Esperance as beautiful as it is and how easy it is for litter to travel to the beach. She also spoke of the importance of preserving the future of this beautiful part of Australia and how this one day can make such a big difference.

If you would like to get involved in Clean up Esperance Day, you can join Lara at Twilight Beach on the first sunday of March 2017. She has organised bags and gloves for anyone that comes down. Rubbish bags may be left along side the tourist loop area, or brought back to Lara and the team at the Twilight Beach carpark where they will then take them to the tip.

My interview with Lara will air just after 7am this Tuesday.
