I have an ongoing quest in learning more and more about Esperance and the surrounding areas such as Hopetoun, Condingup, Ravensthorpe and Lake King. Based on this, I recently took a photo as shown above of a historical Goods shed thats located on the way to Esperance, just past Lake King.
According to one of my listeners to the station: Kerry, stock used to be dropped off there by the Perth To Hopetoun Bus Service,and The local Farmers used to meet up there to collect there Parcels of what ever and have a few social beverages.
Either way, its amazing to be able to share stories and share photos of the history of our beautiful town and its surrounding areas.
