The Bugalugs Bum Thief

A local production

A great local production will be opening here in Esperance at the Bijou theatre.

Its the Bugalugs Bum Thief which is being performed by the students at the Esperance Anglican Community School.

I had the pleasure of chatting to 3 of the student cast members and the director of the show.

This classic Australian children’s story by Tim Winton has been adapted to stage by Monkey Baa Theatre for Young People and is an energetic and hilarious theatre experience suitable for all ages.

Synopsis:
Skeeta Anderson wakes up to find his bottom is missing… along with almost every single backside in the town of Bugalugs. It’s up to Skeeta to catch the thief. But it’s a difficult mission when you don’t have a bum and most of the townsfolk are too embarrassed to admit they don’t either.

A wonderfully silly story for the whole family!
