The WA Rocks Revolution is happening! If you haven't heard about it, basically its a concept where you get some rocks, paint them in which ever way/add artwork, then you head to a park for example to place the rocks at numerous areas and then put a message on a facebook page about the location.
This then allows other people to get out there to pick whichever ones they want, place their rocks they have made down, etc. I had a chance to chat to one of the spearheads behind this movement here in Esperance: Alexis. Alexis has said that originally the concept came from America but now in Australia we have broken the record for the amount of members and people getting involved in this activity.
I personally think its an awesome way to get out there and get some exercise and encourage kids to share and create something beautiful to share. Over the next several days, I will be catching up with Alexis to go on a rock placement and rock hunt. All I can say is...ROCK ON! - Draker
