Alleged torturer released on bail

The Parkwood man accused of leading the torture of a Loganholme man at a Southport mechanic workshop has been granted bail after facing court on Friday.
24-year-old Alexander Pasquill has been charged with deprivation of liberty, torture, armed robbery and assault occasioning bodily harm.
He is is one of 16 people who allegedly held the 26-year-old victim captive, before he eventually made his escape through a glass window and sought refuge at a unit in nearby George Street.
Investigations in the case continue.
