A man who held police at bay during an eight-hour siege at Logan has surrendered peacefully.
The man was holed up inside a unit in Nyanza Street, Woodridge, triggering an emergency declaration about 9.30am Monday.
Hours later, a woman emerged from the unit after unsuccessfully trying to coax him out.
Nine News reporter Nat Wallace said the man gave himself up shortly before 3pm, and was wanted on a number of arrest warrants.
"He was checked over by paramedics before being put in the back of a police truck and driven to Beenleigh Police Station," he said.
