Charges against two of the alleged Yatala road rage attackers could be upgraded.

Prosecutors told Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Friday that alleged victim Brock Prime may die if his condition doesn't improve.

The bail applications for Ryan Hallifax and Jordan Baklas have been adjourned until Monday.

They're accused of horrifically bashing the 29-year-old on the M1 on Saturday night, along with Jonathan Lawrence.

It's understood he was left with a fractured skull, brain injuries and a broken leg after the incident.
