It looks like US casino giant Caesars might still be eyeing off the Gold Coast for a potential integrated resort.
According to News Corp, bosses from the Las Vegas hotspot have met with a bunch of local leaders including our mayor, other government officials and tourism bigwigs over the weekend.
It was their second visit to the Glitter Strip in less than a year.
Destination Gold Coast is keeping quiet about the details though.
“Destination Gold Coast frequently meets with potential investors and others interested in tourism in the city," it said in a statement on Monday.
"It is part of our role as a destination marketing organisation and we always respect commercial confidences”.
