An elderly man's been accused of causing a fatal crash near Tweed Heads last year.
The 87-year-old was behind the wheel of a Toyota Hilux on October 24, when it collided with a motorbike at the corner of Numinbah Road and Couchy Creek Road in Numinbah.
The 22-year-old rider of the bike died at the scene.
The driver of the ute was this week charged with dangerous driving causing death, negligent driving causing death and not giving way to a vehicle, following a Forensic Crash Unit investigation.
He is due to face the Murwillumbah Local Court on March 28.
