After more than a year of safety checks, two big Dreamworld attractions have now reopened!

The WipeOut and Rocky Hollow Log Rides shut down in October 2016, after four people died on another water-themed ride at the Gold Coast theme park, and six months after a 19-year-old was injured on the log ride.

Both are now back up and running after being given the safety tick of approval, with a metal frame and canopies added to the log ride.

Replying to a comment on its Facebook page, Dreamworld Australia admin stated, "we've added a Perspex canopy to prevent riders from standing up at any point during the ride".
